Circle on Cavil: Luxury Ocean Facing Apartment

Very disappointed. Want to speak to someone further Positive: Good location Negative: I am writing to formally complain about the condition of the apartment during our stay, as it was not as advertised and did not meet basic standards of cleanliness, safety, or functionality. The apartment looked nothing like the listing photos. The sofa bed was completely unusable—despite being advertised as suitable for two people, it was impossible for two adults to sleep on it. The fridge was not working properly and barely kept food cold. The air conditioning unit was leaking from the vents, and the power point switches were exposed, cracked, dirty, and posed a clear safety concern. Additionally, the TV did not work at all. Cleanliness was unacceptable. The kitchen was dirty, with heavy dust on the top shelf where dishes were stored, and the dishes themselves were disgusting. The bathroom appeared barely cleaned, with visibly dirty tiles. The apartment was booked specifically for four people, yet only three large towels and two small towels were provided. We contacted the host to request additional towels and received no response. Given the number and seriousness of these issues, the apartement was not fit for the stay we paid for. We are requesting a reimbursement to reflect the inaccurate listing and poor condition of the apartment. Please advise on how this matter will be resolved.

Beautiful view, shitty dirty appartment. Positive: Location and view Negative: It was very dirty, floors dirty (my 4 year old commented when we walked in the door that he needed to get the vacuum to clean it) the windows oven and microwave had grubby hand prints on it, the fridge was dirty and there was two fridges we wernt told that one didn’t work properly, the one in the kitchen and this is the one we used and it spoilt all of our food. There was mould on the cushions. There was sticky dirt on top of the shelves in the kitchen, the bathroom had some sort of dirt up on the tiles, when we turned on the spa bath all this black stuff came out which I assume was mould, the cupboards had think fluffy dirt build up all through them, it was a very poorly kept properly with very primitive styling yet charging the same price as a serviced apartment. There was more stuff that was dirty but I would be here all day writing. They wouldn’t even come back to clean it when I told them of all the issues.

Positive: View Facilities

Was happy with the stay and would return Positive: Perfect location, so close to everything. Room was a good size with everything that you needed. View was absolutely stunning, loved being on a high floor Negative: The room was nice but some things needed to be fixed/ replaced. The light switch when you first walk in was broken and the door handles going into the bedroom looked like they were about to fall off. The bath needed a clean as it was quite dirty when we arrived but nothing too bad.

Did the job. Positive: Location was great, good size space. Negative: Not very clean, only small TV in the lounge room, none in bedroom. Power point in kitchen was dangerous, hot water inconsistent in shower. Lots of outside noise. Frustrating having to run around to get keys as this was privately owned and we were not aware.
