Beachcomber Surfers Paradise

I had a great time at the Gold Coast with family, but had anxiety everytime I left or tried to get back into building Positive: If you travel by public transport or on foot. This accomodation may not be suitable. I had to do two times 2 kilometre round trip with back pack on to get the keys from alternate venue. The reason for two trips is they are sticklers for 3pm check in unless you pay further 90 dollars Negative: The inability to access the room due to needing card as well as keys. The electronic key didn’t work and I was advised by security guard to Pay 40 dollars for a new one. The owner suggested I stay in the unit, unless someone there to let me in. I felt to the owner I was the issue not his key

Positive: Location was perfect, easy to find and get too. Woolworths right across the road, walking distance from the beach and surfers club. The actual place was good, loved that there was things there to make our stay easier like cleaning supplies, basic pantry items ect. Negative: Didn't like the fact that when we did arrive it wasn't as clean as we would of expected it to be. The taps in the shower were a struggle to turn on as they had to be turned off super tight because it kept leaking so that was rather annoying. Also the hair dryer couldn't be used as it kept making a crakling noise and at one point was smoking a little. Was also annoying having to drive to a completely different location to pick the keys up.
